MCAT Registration Fees

The AAMC MCAT’s standard registration fee is $345, and for the Fee Assistance Program (FAP), it's $140. There are three MCAT registration deadlines, detailed in the table below.

Note: The above fees are in USD. An additional international fee of $120 will be charged to those testing outside the United States, Canada, Guam, US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. The deadline for registration is 11:59 a.m. ET. It is non-refundable upon registration cancellation.

MCAT Testing Centers

US territories and international MCAT testing centers can be found in various locations, including Guam, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Australia, China (Hong Kong), France, Germany, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, Qatar, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United Kingdom. Keep in mind that this list may change, so it's advisable to regularly check the AAMC's US Territories and International Testing Calendar or contact them directly, depending on your specific circumstances.

Remember: Ensure you meet eligibility criteria, create an AAMC account, and carefully review available test dates and locations. If eligible, consider the Fee Assistance Program (FAP) to reduce fees. Gather required identification documents and register early to secure your preferred date and location. 1. Read the MCAT Examinee Agreement.

When you register for the MCAT, you will be required to certify that you have read and will abide with the MCAT Examinee Agreement. It is a non-disclosure contract that includes prohibitions on discussion of your test day experience.

2. Learn the testing center regulations and procedures.

Pearson VUE testing centers have uniform testing procedures that you need to adhere to on test day. The guidelines have been revised to include COVID-19 protocols such as wearing of masks that must be strictly followed. (Protecting Your Health and Safety on Test Day)

3. The following are the only items you will be allowed to bring to the testing room:

• Acceptable ID with your first and last name matching the ones on your MCAT registration
• Noteboard and marker (to be provided by the testing center)
• Foam and wireless earplugs (to be provided by the testing center)
• Storage key (to be provided by the testing center)

4. The following are acceptable IDs in testing centers:

• Government-issued
• Must not be expired, with the expiration date printed on the ID
• Must have a photo and signature
• Must be in English

5. You can access only food, water and medication during breaks. You will have two 10-minutes breaks and a 30-minute mid-exam break. During this time, you will not be allowed access to your cell phone or gadget as well as study materials. You should not leave the testing center during breaks.
